Los engaños, timos, cuentos, ardides, enredos, estafas, engatuses, embauques, etc. llegan a diario a través de un correo. Algunas características, y no exclusivas son:
- Remitente desconocido.
- Cuenta de correo de servidor gratis: Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.
- Vienen en inglés.
- Tienen errores de ortografía.
- Tienen errores de tipeado.
- Conceptos confusos.
- El collar es muy grande y hasta el perro desconfía, dicho de otra forma: la oferta es grande y nos hace pensar “por fin una buena para mí”.
Esta gente envía miles de correos por día buscando incautos que crean que es “su día” y no es así. El ardid toma diferentes caminos y el final es siempre el mismo, el receptor del email termina dando datos de su tarjeta para comprobar que tiene solvencia, para pagar algún gasto de transferencia que no se puede pagar en origen, lo que sea el “beneficiado” terminará tan inocente como una oveja bien esquilada.
